When I collected ds1(7nt) from school his teacher came out & gave me a piece of paper. She said I hope you don't mind I thought you would like to have a copy of this. She had asked them to write about a member of their family.. DS1 wrote..
My best person in my family is my brother he is only 4 but nearly as big as me. He makes me laugh we play together when my mums not looking we are naughty & I always blame him & he doesn't mind. He can walk now so we have races in the garden but i always win but i think when he is 7 he might beat me.
Sometimes I am nasty to him but really I love him, when we go out he doesn't like it & he gets scared so i hold his hand because I don't like it when he cries.
he is annoying but i don't want a different brother unless he is like David Beckham but I think he is old anyway.

how sweet and touching, that's what I really want for my dss - for them to love and look out for each other, even though they also annoy the hell out of each other.

aww that's sweet. Did you cry? DS2's (reception) only written piece about ds1 is : "my brother is mad" against which his teacher has written 'I hope not!'

I didn't read it until I got into the car, I was just welling up when they started thumping each other..the moment was lost.

that is so sweet, another one with tears in my eyes. hope my two are this close, that's partly why we wanted another one so close in age to dd1 even though she has sn.

They definately have a love hate relationship but I think they have learned loads from each other.
