HELP NEEDED!! info on pecial Needs Play Parks

Did I see right or was it just in my dreams? Have some local authorities built play areas for special needs children and siblings?

If you have knowledge of, or have even visited one of these parks, can you please let me know.

I want to nag our councillors for one in our area, but am unable to get to one in the UK.

Please let me know how they run, equipment they have etc.

I will be an ever greatful Mother!

Thank You! It seems these are a quite a new idea then. We do have something similar here, but it has no special equipment, but it would give us a starting point.

Now to look up park equipment manufacturers and start the nagging!

Should be ready by the time my DS is 21!!
