Silly I know, but after reading some of the comments of today, I wanted to end on a high note!!
DD has had a brilliant day, came out of SN nursery today, grinning from ear to ear, with a "good effort" sticker stuck proudly on her t-shirt. Her little face was a picture. Her keyworker said what a good morning she'd had and that she had been working very well and joining in with the signing AND sounds.
Nanny & Grandad were visiting today and back at home she proudly demonstrated some of the sounds and signs we have been working on with Jolly Phonics. All of a sudden things are, hopefully, falling into place.
better stop now, while I'm still on a high note- can't seem to switch off tonight, better try to get some sleep or I doubt tomorrow will seem so good.
