DD is nearly 3 and suspected of having asd. She went to her friends birthday party on Monday which appears to have been a little much for her, the past 3days she's not done much more than lie down with her blanket, running tags on her face and drinking milk.
She's not been eating much at all an ice lolly tuesday, a couple of pieces of dry cereal on wednesday and absolutely nothing but milk on Thursday.
She's still refusing any food, weve been told to not let her fill up on milk but if i don't give her milk she wont eat or drink anything so i don't know what to do.

Can you leave plates with bits of her favourite foodie near her - in the side and with no demands to eat- just see if she picks at them and don’t ask her or alert her to them maybe make loud mmmm noises around the plate and then leave the room.
It maybe she’s just more anti any demands at the moment

Don't rule out having picked up a bug and be feeling unwell. Lots of kids get ill after a big gathering.

Thank you I left a crispbake cracker on her table, shes eaten about half of it .. I'll try just leaving bits around thank you :)

She's as if shes just stuck in her own world at the moment shes not acting poorly just dismissive

It could well be a bug, the dismissive personality can be her way of coping too, - with the sudden drop in temp combined with loads of kids after a party it could be something lurking in her throat hence the just drinking.

I definitely find with my DD that after a big day she loses appetite and ability to regulate - and a sickness bug often does the same before we can see the actual physical symptoms of the sickness.

Often after we've had a discussion about "what's wrong, was she overstimulated, was it because of this or that?" she then throws up in the night or had a streaming cold the next day or something.

Hope she's feeling better soon. Great that she managed to tackle a bit of cracker.

Daddy managed to get her eating ... not the best food but she's eaten cheese puffs and had some Apple juice
It's just worrying isn't it when they don't eat and i end up feeling guilty but she's chosen not to :/
