probably best to start nw thread, boucning and twirling, how to keep a grip on it

dd2 is very boucey and twirly again. trouble is, she is doing near roads. so am having to restrain her physically at times, to stop the dangerous twirling and boucing.

what else can i do? she is 5 in a couple of months, and so tightly coils like a spring, all the time. its like she has so much energy that it has to burst from her, all the time. she isnt naughty, just so so energnetic that it puts herself into dangerous situations.

she has also been headbutting and punching again. when she greets me at nursery pick up with its a hug and head butt.

my dd headbuttts it hurts like hell an she not quite 1, i think perhaps a wrist strap will make her calm down kind of while we are near the road you have to wear it or hold my hand good luck

she wont wear a wrist strap, i would end being dragged along. she is almost 5years old, and very tall and large for her age.

i do try and get her to hold hands but she can slip out of my grasp so fast.

Fledglings have a really sturdy backpack with a reins attachment that I have seen pre teens using. (Actually not that obvious that they have a reins attachment to passer by!) Just an idea to take away some of the strain!
