Background, dd1 was diagnosed with ADHD in october, we were given equasym and she was on 15mg a day, the hospital cancelled her january appointment, but in november and march she was seen by the neuro. consulant who noted she had lost 4kg in weight.
I went into the children's clinic in april and ranted at them about her ADHD appointment and they manged to get me an appointment for last week. I decided to take her down to 5mg a day as I was concerned about the weight lost.
Anyway the doctor at the ADHD clinic said I did the right thing and she has gained weight again, but we have to put her back onto 10mg a day.
Anyway I picked up her tablets yesterday and after school the teacher grabbed me and asked if she had been having her tablets in the morning, I explained what had happened and she laughed and said that it explained a lot. Apparently she has been dancing around the classroom and tapdancing in assembly she has been so hyper.
So I think we can safely say she defo. has ADHD

I guess it also shows that the tablets did make a difference

yep,for sure. I knew that they worked again this morning as she was running around like a headless chicken, screeching, slamming doors and generally being a pain, I gave her her tablet and within 1/2 hour she was calm again

oh god, the not sleeping has started again, I think we might have to increase her tablets again. She was on 10mg a day, but not sleeping, so was put onto 15mg which stopped the sleeping problems, but now she is back on 10mg, she isn;t sleeping again I hate ADHD
