I am so sorry....time has gone so fast and i've had a few tough dayswhich don't help.

Managed to delete your email...so here is exactly what i wrote on the DLA form about Toms medication......as i am outraged that they are saying that your 6 year old is 'self medicating' simply because he isn't pinned down to take it!
Here's what i wrote:

THOMAS TAKES HIS TABLETS WELL WITH A DRINK- HOWEVER I HAVE TO STAY WITH HIM TO MAKE SURE THAT HE DOESN'T PUT IT DOWN AND FORGET.
GENERALLY,I PHYSICALLY PUT THE TABLET ON HIS TONGUE- SO I KNOW IT CANNOT BE DROPPED.
HOWEVER,THOMAS PREFERS TO PUT IT INHIS OWN MOUTH- SO WE DO HAVE ARGUEMENTS ABOUT THIS FREQUENTLY.
HE NEEDS THIS MEDICATION TO ENABLE HIM TO MANAGE AT SCHOOL- IT HELPS HIM TO CONCENTRATE AND TO KEEP ON TASK.
ON WAKING THOMAS IS EXTREMELEY BAD TEMPERED,CLUMSY,PROVOCATIVE AND HYPERACTIVE- SO I HAVE TO GET HIM TO TAKE HIS TABLET WITHIN 5MINS OF WAKING- SO AS TO GET HIM CALMED DOWN AS QUICKLY AS POSSBLE.
IF IT WERE POSSIBLE TO GIVE HIM THE MEDICINE WHILST HE SLEPT SO THAT HE AWOE CALM THEN I WOULD...AS THIS IS THE WORST PART OF HIS DAY

i ADDED THAT THIS IS 7 DAYS A WEEK ONCE A DAY AND CAN TAKE 5MINS TO ADMINISTER- BUT THERE IS ALSO UP TO AN HOUR EACH DAY WHILST THE TABLET 'KICKS IN' WHERE I HAVE TO 'WATCH HIM ' AS HE STRUGGLES TO INTERACT WITH HIS BROTHERS.

So ....here's my email adress as if you urgently need info it will be quicker than going back through the 'contact member' stuff!
Also i now have all thomas's DLA stuff in front of me so if you ask a question i can answer that day!!!! (last week i hadn't a clue where i'd put it!)

Also by the way.....here are the reasons the DLA was awarded...as per the award notice:

care- middle rate
....because you need attention with bodily functions several times at short intervals right through the day

mobility-low rate
....becauseyou need someone to guide or supervise you when you are walking on routes that are unfamiliar.

Now personally...i am happy with the rates awarded but when i read their 'reasons' i laugh as they make it all sound so simple.....considering how much i detailed in the form....but as i said because i am happy with the award then i just 'ignore' their reasoning.
