Cambian have decided to close her school so she's moving to Summergil, an Orbis provision. It's very autism specific and she has only been in residential for 10 months and has made huge gains. I'm sure it will be good for her in the long run.
I'm quite worried about her though as she's a meds refuser. She tries to control things like eating and meds and is also very thin. Plus because Cambian gave us 6 weeks notice, there is no chance to even do a proper transition. They said that if any children remained on 30th April, they would close anyway and deliver them home 😱 for some of us that's not an option. My daughter is very complex and needs a very bespoke environment.
