I havent been around properly for ages because we have recently moved house and getting on the internet is a bit difficult (involves setting up the laptop in Ben's therapy room, blah blah blah and all those wires - arrghhhh!!!)
Anyway I am shocked to say that Brighton & Hove LEA are FUNDING our full time ABA programme!!!!!! After all the hassle and stress we've had with East Sussex it seems so amazing to actually be FUNDED!!!
The LEA official we had a meeting with actually said "ABA definitely works" and "we have nothing else to offer pre-school autistic children so we will fund"! In East Sussex the 'bitch from hell' said "ABA doesnt work" and "5 hours a week in nursey will meet all his needs". What a comparison, eh?!
They are beginning to fund from Sept 1st and it is to last for 2 years! Am so happy I feel like crying all the time!
