EP recommendation (Aspergers) please - East Sussex

Hello, we are applying for an EHCP for my 9 year old son who has Aspergers. He has not been at school for the last 3 months because of anxiety.

Ipsea said that getting my own EP report would be beneficial. He struggles with sensory overload, literal language, rigid thinking, social interaction. He seems fine at school and is good at masking, but just bottles it up and explodes when he gets home.

Can anyone recommend a good Ed Psych for Aspergers in the south-east (Sussex) please? I would need someone who could hopefully attend tribunal if it came to that.

Many thanks

Forgot to say, he was not behind at school when he was attending, although he has now missed the last 3 months' work.

Heather Forknall Brighton wrote a great report on my son sounds quite similar to yours. Don’t know about tribunal attendance

MPA Brighton. John McKeown if you can get him. Very well respected with both West Sussex and East Sussex LA's. DS's EHCP is pretty much a cut and paste of his report!! He's not cheap though
