I have a 6yo SN DS who still rests his tongue on lower lip & has a major language delay & now am concerned that my 7mo DD still does not retract tongue properly ie sleeps with tongue on lower lip, smiles with tongue out. What age does the tongue not retracting properly sound alarm bells?? Paranoia, moi??

THis wouldn't have anything to do with a language delay so don't worry about it.
(Am a salt btw.)

thanks moondog - just worry because I know my DS's lack of tongue control is a big part of his language difficulty. Find myself wanting to push DD's tongue forcefully back into her mouth!
