How did you feel when you moved from mainstream to special School?

My son will change schools in September, I've orchestrated it myself but really don't want him to go . I love our little ms school and the change is scary even though I know he won't cope in year 3 and it has to be done . How do I align my hopes and dreams with reality 😬.

Reality will align them..
I know it’s not easy, my son moved at the same stage from a small villiage school, But it’s been a fantastic move. You’ll look back and wish you’d done it sooner.
Your dreams will change, that process can’t be hurried and no one can tell you what they are but you’re about to realise how hard mainstream must’ve been for your ds because he will thrive in ss.
