Just that.
We’ve been on Medikinet xl for 3 years and I’ve always been worried about aggression but it’s worked brilliantly for attention.
Now on a week baseline before strattera and today was horrendous for behaviour and aggression at school so I’m thinking it can’t be the Medikinet xl.
And I’m worried about starting strattera when I know it’s worked great for school.
I don’t mediate on weekends so this means 24/7- which if it helps ds, brilliant.
I’ve read through the back catalogue on mumsnet and I’ve heard that strattera seems to bring a child out more- less locked in which tbh my son is even on the Medikinet.
There’s no doubt he has ADD because Medikinet has helped.
I’m just getting cold feet about strattera mainly because it’s new and takes 4 weeks to see the difference.
My ds has no weight hunger issues or sleep isssues and I don’t want that to be another issue!
I’d really appreciate some experiences. I know is only day one but if the aggression isn’t linked to Medikinet, am I mad to change to strattera?
