Hi we have a meeting with an educational psychologist and other professionals who work with my son to gather information for the ehcp. Just wondering if anyone knows what happens or what info they are looking for?

They ask questions about him, how he is at home. Why your concerned. Ask about birth and early years, it's all fairly straight forward.

You need to tell him/her about all the concerns you have at home and at school, when you first noticed things weren't quite as they should be, difficulties/delayed development in early years, when he reached milestones etc. Think about physical development, co-ordination, motor skills, language development, social skills etc. Think how he differs from children of a similar age.

It may help to write down some notes before the meeting, as it is important that they have the whole picture. I found the easiest way was to start from birth and note everything down in chronological order.
