Does anyone know how you can find out how much it costs to find current provision for my daughter in mainstream for SALT, OT and specialist S&L teacher provision in EHCP? The school say they don’t know and they’ve asked County who haven’t responded.

I'm not sure you'll find a cost. From my experience most local authorities commission a service from SaLT OT etc as a complete package and so do not break the cost down to individual level.

Ask school for their 'provision map' this details how much they spend on your child. It provides evidence for the ehc team of how much they are spending on your dc (and if its over £6,000 a year)and why they need more funding , so they really should have one.

My son's say space therapy (once a week term time ) costs £850. But as it's shared with another child £425 is included in his plan.

Ed psyc was £540 for 6hours

*space therapy should read speech therapy

As I say in many authorities the speech therapy will be commissioned the local authority so there is no additional cost to the school. Worth asking the SENCo how it works in your locality

DS has a specialist placement. An hour 1:1 withdrawal from class with either specialist teacher, SALT or OT per week the school charges £1,300 each respectively per term. A full time LSA is £6,000 per term (non specialist) plus the school fees of a specialist school setting at £7,000 per term. A LOT is probably the answer!
