Im fairly new to mn ( Ds is a tall 7 and can just about manage pullup styles) and hope someone can help me! Does anyone know where I can buy school elasticated pullup style trousers (charcoal) for a SN child now grown out of his M&S age 6. I managed to get one pair old ASda girls 7-8 unisex style but cant find anything else. Perhaps mail order. Also smarter casual pull up trousers - my local shop that sold Dunwoody trousers (expensive but tidy)has closed, My son has 'accidents' so needs to be able to change without assistance!! Thanks!

Adams might be worth a look. I can't swear that they definitely do boy's trousers with elasticated waists, but they do them in girl's styles up to at least age 8 so you could be OK there. A lot of the branches have closed but they still sell online.

You could also try Woolies - again, I haven't looked at the boy's styles because I only have a girl but the girl's styles have elasticated waists up to at least age 8 as well. They have a value range which is pretty much unisex, and those are elasticated as well.

Bhs might be another place to try - again, based on the fact that they do girl's styles with elasticated waists.

Thanks Wigwam, Ive tried woolies bhs tesco johnlewis and adams (all the boys have a zip fly from age 7-8/128 cm size, though most are half elastic) but will look again for a straighter girls style that could pass for unisex! I could make some but they would look different (and cost more)and Ds already has to cope with being different!

I had a google, and came up with these ,
if they're any use. They go up to age 8.

Thanks Wigwam! have ordered some! Don't know why my google search missed them but perhaps I didn't narrow it enough! Thanks and reasonably priced too!

For non-school pull-up trousers try Boden. Also quite pricey but very good quality and nice designs, do elasticated up to age 14. There is a MN 10% discount if you go to home page or discounts page.

The ones with zips are generally elasticated too, aren't they/?

Thanks everybody, have school trousers ordered and will try Boden for next posh pair.

Thanks! Its somtimes solving the little things that make life less hassle! New school trousers are great! DS can put on easily, pull them up properly to cover his undies and'bits!' (the waist is stretchy and soft) and even turn them back the correct way after gym himself ! They look normal even when back to front!
