English Special Needs Schools in Brussels

Dear all,

I have a son who will be 4 in just a month. He is heart baby but has also delays. He cannot speak but have few words. Very happy, but also with limited agility due to effects of hospitalizations. I am wondering if you know schools in and around Brussels where i could send him to? He was admitted in one of the European Schools but they informed me today that they cannot keep him in school as the school is 'mainstream'and he should be well attended to in a special needs education system.

We looked into this a while ago ( when a move was possible). There is an international school with an SEN stream. If I recall correctly, the additional fees are very high and there is a waiting list. If you post in the Living Overseas section, someone will have more useful information ( like the name of the school!)
