I can't really make sense of why, though I guess budget is one factor but still surely it won't really help...?
I've seen the letter, I know mum well. I know school is permanently cost cutting, doesn't buy into the local NHS salt or the ed psych service to save money. Very very poor sen support (and attitude when my daughter went). One off private appt in central London where child receives diagnosis, obv alongside school and home reports.
Has anyone heard of this before? Why would they? Surely it wouldn't be a way to bypass borough services cheaply? (By the time you've paid for all the salt, ed psych visits etc I guess this could well be cheaper).
