We are waiting on my son seeing the community paediatrician and in the meantime we have a letter regarding the Early Years support and SEND specialist services team and SALT and a family file etc.
I'm a little bewildered as all the paperwork refers to these services being offered to those who have disabilities/complex additional needs etc. It seems so extreme as my son is so bloody normal!
Is this just a general thing they do at this preliminary stage or is there more being suspected in regard to my son than they are telling me?
