As above, is there a legal time frame once a child has been referred to be assessed is there a legal timeframe a child has to be seen by?

I mean the very first contact from outside services to school and a child being seen initially

Do u mean nhs assessment? Then no I don't think so.

It is for autism and dyslexia.
Son was referred first week in January and have been told to chase up by sons DR after anxiety issues. School have said there is a problem with underfunding and people leaving due to low moral etc so no idea when he will be seen.
