my nephew goes from major hyper moods to switching aggresiveness, sleepwalks etc

Are these symptom of ADHD?? he is 8yrs

For moodswings try omega 3 oils (keep off omega 6's if hyperactivity is a risk).

I think the main feature of ADHD is impusliveness- acting without thinking of the consequences, even if afterwards you can have a conversation about it. And destructiveness. Often lack of sleep. But the main one I'd say is impulsive (and often dangerous) behaviour.

yes....my sister will say to him not to do something and then he will just do it. He will pick up stones and throw them at people. The immediate conversation is that he doesn't care. Sometimes he will kick and punch but mostly talk outrageously like jumping out windows etc. Later he will be very sorry and sometimes cry and go into an extreme downer. He is only 8 and I just wish I could get in his little head to help him.
