I think DD finds emotions hard to deal with. She doesn't really show much affection most of time and found this Mother's Day and last hard. I LOVED my card and she seemed uncomfortable with my reaction and awkward - couldn't say much to me just kept on shouting out about winkies and bits and pieces lol...her favourite subject at mo (when we are at home, not in front of others)

She covered her ears to the musical, light up card she bought me - which sings I love u!! Spent the morning, v v busy, completing random tasks and into everything...would not get ready. Also spent half the morning walking around naked lol....

Yes. My DD finds celebrations hard. She wants it all, but then cannot handle it when it arrives. However we keep it low key and then she is better. We were also saying yesterday that she was better this year than she was last year, so it is getting better with age.
