Today is my DS (DX autism)fourth birthday.

We went to see trolls, then to pizza hut. In pizza hut, he and my DD 2 were a little excitable but not too excessive. Besides it's a family restaurant at 12pm.

Man at the table next to us turned and shouted 'will someone shut those fucking kids up!'

And not gonna lie, it's ruined my day.
Ashe gets older, people will less likely look at him and this k he's adorable just the way he is and just look at him like he's wierd. Not sure if can cope with that reaction from the public again.

But then maybe he had additional needs too. Who knows.

It's the man's problem that he's a twat. Leave his twattery where it belongs - with him not you.

Thank you sloanyanne. You're right. I hope there aren't many years like that out there.

That is appalling. I would have struggled not to say something to him.....
I find it ridiculous especially in a place like Pizza Hut. If you want a quiet lunch then go somewhere else.
There will always be some twats like that... even with my NT 6 year old DS I have had plenty of similar experiences over the years.
Usually it's people who don't actually have children....Angry
