DS TA leaving, school starting to remove stuff she put in place.

My is in yr5. He has an EHCP with '25 hours of Teaching Assistant Support or Equivalent"

His TA told me yesterday on the QT that she is leaving at Christmas.. so only 2 weeks... she's not supposed to have told me, so now i'm in countdown to see how long until the school tell me she is going and what/who they plan to put in place from the new term.

However, today they began to remove things she put in place for him with some bull about 'numbers' for a lunchtime thing she runs that she has been allowing him to go to, and making him go back to the old plan 'that he's always done' well yes, but the new plan was put in place because he was refusing to follow the old on this term

I'm somewhat pissed off and vaguely feel like there is something else going on and i'm concerned they're slowly going to undo all the hard work she's done. :(

How is his EHCP worded? Is it access to TA for 25 hours or dedicated 1:1 for 25 hours? I'd start writing a diary of what he had, what's changed then book a meeting with the Senco.
Ask Senco to reassure you that his EHCP will contine to be followed and how they plan a transition.
But hard if your not supposed to know? Why are aren't you supposed to know? That alone would worry me. It suggests there's something brewing your not going like doesn't it?

i have no idea... i assume she's been told not to say anything until they tell me?
