have asked for transfer from MS to SN for DS

i have phoned the lea this morning to request a transfer for DS who is currently year 5, he is struggling a bit as he has had a few tests recently and he struggles with them, we know year six MS will be even more tests so felt it would be good to move him in sept, if there are any places available, fingers crossed.

yes year 6 is much harder and whilst DS does very well at reading and mathes he struggles with other stuff
He will hopefully go to my girls school which is excellent anyway.
this will be much easier for me to manage when DH is in hospital/unwell, cos i can just take all three to the school bus stop together and i won't be juggling so much stuff.

i think the only reservation i have is about the friendships he will leave behind.
