Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

I hope this may be of use to some mumsnetters or anyone they know

Hi

This is my first post on mumsnet. I don't know if anyone has heard of the Caudwell Charity? They offer support to children and families where their child has a disability or helath needs. Some examples of support they have offered include purchasing specialised wheelchairs, contributing to the cost of therapeutic treatments and dying wish holidays. their website is www.caudwellcharity.com

There i finally managed it, have tried to do this message 3 times and each time my 1 year old has erased it

I hope this may be of use to someone

Welcome to MN kayb4 Thanks for the link. I've heard of this charity - I'm from Stoke and he's pretty high profile around here. Him and Robbie lol!

Hope to see you posting a bit more now you're here.

Thanks kayb4, thats really useful.

Whizzkids have a very long waiting list now, so its useful to know about another charity that can help with mobility equipment.

I am from the other "on Trent" down the A50. I think I'd rather have Robbie than him any day.

I have heard whizzkidz have a huge waiting list, so get those applications into the caudwell charity.

Kay
