Ds1 (6.5yrs and autistic) is waking up during the night by lights from cars outside. We don't live near a main road but people come and go at all hours of the night.
The obvious solution would be blackout curtains but ds1 shares a room with ds2 (also autistic) and ds2 is terrified of it being too dark.
Ds1 has asked if he can have something to put over his eyes at night. I was thinking of something like those blindfold things that people use when travelling etc but don't know what they're called. Googling for children and blindfolds brings up everything from party games to sex shops (and I hate to think what else) so I'm stuck. Does anyone know of a place that sells a child-friendly version of these? Ds1 has a fairly big head so they wouldn't have to be particularly small IYSWIM.
