I am going to go over and rip off their windscreen wipers. I mean how ignorant can you get beeping at a bus full of disabled school children. Oh how inconveneient to have a bunch of disabled kids holding you up. And yes the bus is allowed to stop in the street if there's nowhere to park. The escort said maybe she'd done it by accident (and the gesticulations) but given the way she screamed off down the street after the bus had gone, tyres burning I doubt it.

Silly idiot. It's always women as well.

some one did it to us the other day Jimjams, I couldnt belive it

it was a taxi! I shouted that it is a bus with disabled kids in it but he just kept saying not to get involved and his problem was with the driver

why couldnt the driver pull in by the kerb...

But then it would mean Ellie had to get out of the bus onto the road and would have been dangerous

the escort got his number and made a complaint and ahd to fill in forms

Terrible isnt it

Did it by accident??? If it is anything like the school buses round here then it is made very very clear on all sides of it who the bus is for (at the person, not the bus labelling )

I think there must be something about driving in the morning that sends people mad. DS1's school is in a fairly narrow road so there's no room for two way traffic. I was distracted by DS2 the other day and failed to give way - in other words I followed an admittedly long stream of cars that the man at the other end of the road was letting through. I know I should have looked, thought and given way to him, but instead of just flashing his lights at me or something he drove straight at my car! I honestly thought he was going to hit me head on - he swerved out of the way at the last minute and his face was a mask of pure rage. V scary. Haven't had the bus experience yet but I'll be furious if this happens when DS2 starts school- he can't even climb into an ordinary car by himself yet so he's bound to take some time.

They don't wait here, they just drive over the pavement, squeezing between a wall and the taxi where I have the door open strapping ds in. The small car that does this is one thing, but there is a whopping great 4x4 that can be quite scary. I can't understand it because ds goes at the same time every morning and if waiting two minutes is going to make them late surely they should get up a bit earlier!
