Various communication issues leave youngest 5yo dd needing gastrostomy 2 months ago. Currently scheduled for june on NHS but am very concerned meantime regarding strength and airway, dd is pallaitive so always part of the care plan but ng tube and ventilation are not and I want to avoid these.
Trying to see if op could be done privately elsewhere in the next couple of weeks. Anyone got any experience of this and how long a wait did you have?
