Just wanted to say that really.
I live in dread of someone else choosing dd's clothes. once at respite they put her in her school cardigan for an outing on a saturday. lets just say they never did it again. I went mad.

Weird isn't it. It's such a small thing. It's the thought of someone not really caring what he wears. I care about what he wears, I want to be able to choose his clothes. Not just have to accept whatever they decide he wants to wear.

I hadn't thought about it at all until I read "growing up severely autistic they call me gabriel". It opened my eyes that book (although I found it very depressing).

To me how dd dresses Is REALLY important. I try so hard to make her look good. and buy her clothes that children her age would wear(often as dc's in shops)
