I posted a while ago on this, but I just want a last chance to get any pearls of wisdom.
Ds (ASD) is in reception, nice school and staff, but no academic progress because of his issues. He is verbal and reasonably able- but huge holes in knowledge and understanding, oppositional and never communicates with peers. All his academic and social progress have come via ABA.
Although I will fight for ABA funding, it almost certainly won't materialise. Apart from asking for dedicated 1:1, I'm not sure what to push for in the meeting to ensure he gets what he needs to reach potential.
Any last minute advice would be good.Thanks
