hi - afraid a bit of a rant ensues....
my 8 year old daughter is undiagnosed at the moment but had a statement at school. we moved house and schools last year and since then the school have failed to give my daughter the correct help as mentioned on her statement. she is also getting bullied physically and the school seem to have a very laid back approach to this. In fact I feel that they are belittling her condition as she behaves well at school and constantly try to tell me all her needs are being met. I am very frustrated and have now got help from SENDIASS who are liaisons with the schools and parents. However they seem to be on the side of the school and want me to give them more and more chances when everything that is set in place goes awry.
Is there anyone out there with the same/similar scenario who can advise me of what to do as they are advising against moving schools again.
The current school are also in special measures with OSFTED.
many thanks

Is the school named on her statement? I'd be taking it back to the local authority and requesting an emergency review.
