Dyslexia Action - lessons - expensive or worth the money? Unsure what to do...

Hi,
I havent got a dx of dyslexia for dd who is nearly 8 but she has a spikey profile - low working memory (average) yet high to superior iq and superior processing speed. She cannot master her phonics and although her reading is better she cannot spell for toffee. I just want to help her.
I can go to my local da for sessions but these are £36. Is this good? Expensive? They said about working with units of sound and giving me access at home..

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
