We are in process of looking for a specialist school for ds who is in year 7. Has adhd also being assessed for aspergers. Don't know where to start looking. His academic ability is average but with right support could be doing a lot better.La have suggested Brambles East . Haven't ruled out a residential type place but how challenging would his behaviours have to be for residential school to be the right placement? Any advice?

Hi Oooo, I'm not sure if you're aware of it, but the SN Children section may be a good idea to ask this question. There's more knowledgeable people that pass by.

I'm not able to help with your question. Sorry.

I think you'll need to report the thread? Although, I've never done it.
