Our daughter is nearly 16 and has a primary diagnosis of FASD. She is bright but with emotional, sensory and processing difficulties. She's also trans m-f, which her previous boarding school couldn't really accommodate. The LA have finally agreed that she needs an EHCP, but we are struggling to identify suitable schools, ideally in the SW, but anywhere would be considered. Any advice welcome. Experience with FASD and transgender children and a cohort of girls who can act as female role models would be an advantage as specialist dyslexia or ASD provision isn't necessarily appropriate.
