Have got the tree up and presents underneath - any bets....

on how long it takes for the dds to unwrap something or pull tree over. It is only a small tree so is on a table in our playroom along with some wrapped presents.

WE have had our tree up since the beginning of Dec, its still in one piece!

for the first time we had it in our living room rather than shoved in a corner !

But not brave enough to put any presents underneath!!!!!!!!!!!!

all our presents are from santa, so they don't appear til christmas eve night anyway
Who brings yours then if not santa?
They will not survive till christmas

our dds get a stocking which is from santa - sort of - we don't really do santa and the rest of presents are from relatives and from us - sil visited this week and we won't be seeing them this christmas so presents are under the tree. THere are still big things that dh and I have to put together chrissy eve.

At the moment we are not really using the playroom so hopefully no big deal..given that dh went downstairs to get something right next to tree etc and did not see it!!!-

so far so good - they have even been playing down there yesterday arvo and this morning - ask for the lights to be put on and will go and touch presents but no opening... having said that - have not left them on their own down there with said tree.

Dd1 did however get into the wardrobe where I had 2 aunts' presents wrapped and in gift bags - thank goodness she did not open the chocs so I can just rewrap them.....

LOL....this is the first year we have the tree up in the lounge, rather than lock out in the conservatory where it can be seen but not touched!!!

SO FAR, it's not been too bad,in fact the only damage was done by the cat!!

NO pressies underneath, we have a little train set that goes round and round which really distracts attention from the tree...this has been de-railed a few times though!

I have just found an unwrapped present. I'm not convinced that it wasn't ds2 blaming ds1.......
