First off she walked in Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.

She joined in witht he singing and her main job was to be the drummer which she did so well. She did it exactly on cue. She once went to do it whnen she wasn't supposed to and her SN's teacher just shook her head and she stopped

We then took her and DD2 to a nearby hotel for a drink with my parents to celebrate both their birthdays (DD2 was 1 today and DD1 was 5 on Sunday). She walked around looking for Aslan (lion from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe)!

The D and I took them both off on our own and took them out for dinner. She was wonderful in the restaurant, held the managers hand and walked to the table, sat down and said 'man, pizza please man'!

DD2 was a little star too and sat and ate beautifully and made us really laugh, they both did.

What a lovely day.

Happy 1st Birthday to my DD2.

I really need to go to bed now!

Sounds fantastic - you must be very proud. I went to see my old class perform their nativity (they all have severe learning difficulties) and took my mum and my lo. We both had tears in our eyes as they walked onto the stage, most of them either by themselves (wow) or with an adult just behind them.

Belated happy birthday to your dd2

Hi Lori, yes, very, very proud of both of them.

And it isn't a belated b.day greeting, DD2 is 1 today , so thank you

Happy birthday Tc's lovely little one, and happy birthday to your big girl too. Walking! What a joy! Ds wanted me to send a card to his old girlfriend who has moved away. 'and maybe I could go and visit and we will see each other and...imagine the joy on our faces!'

Imagine the joy on my face!

x

I'm glad little dd2 had a lovely birthday. I can't believe it's a whole year already since she was born.
