Anyone appealled a parking ticket successfully?

We were parked without causing obstruction on a double yellow line. But apparently because it was a car park we were ticketted.

Double yellows in car parks don't count apparently...

Anyone any advice?

Google Pepipoo, they advise on all sorts of parking ticket scenarios.

I would just explain you didn't understand this. Is it clearly marked that this is the case where you parked? We appealed a ticket after a parked without paying in a car park. we didn't realise that you had to be in a disabled bay to not pay. They let us off. I wrote aletter explaining and also so highlighted how few disabled back so we em in the car park (2) and they cancelled the ticket.
