Hi, I've just had my son diagnosed formally with autism, I thought he was mild to moderate ASD, I had an ADOS test done a few months ago, but was told it was quite severe.
He's obsessed with the alphabet, numbers, shapes, knows how to read many words. I wanted to start ABA - does anyone know of the best ABA that would fit and build on this obsession? It's like this is the way in to his world.
He doesn't need to learn to say words, he already can, just never uses them in conversation. I want to expand his world, but he's most comfortable with his letters/ numbers. There must be some way to make use of this?
