I've left this message on here because I know you regularly visit this site nd I thought it hd the best chance of being seen.
I know its a bit belated but i wanted to let you know that Alfie arrived safe and sound on the 6th November 2006 (his due date!!) and he weighed 8lb 11oz. I promised I would let you know and im sorry its so late but i havent had access to a computer before now.
As it turned out my little boy was fine and healthy and didnt have Downs Syndrome, so i feel slightly bad for taking up your time with my worries and questions, but i just wanted to say i was and still am so grateful for all your help and advice, i know if it would have been different and he did have special needs, it would of been tough but I would of coped and that was partly down to you and your kind words, but I now know that having a baby is hard no matter the situation! Thanks again for speaking to me about things and i hope all of you are well as well as your families, please take care and get in contact if you would like, it would be good to hear from you all.

Hugs to you LeBe....congratulations on your beautiful baby .

You weren't taking up anyones time honey, you had concerns at the time and are now a bit better off in knowledge about Down Syndrome.

It is very hard at time having a child with DS, but it's mainly the system that makes it hard, not the child or the "disability!"

Have a wonderful Christmas with Baby Alfie!

So, so pleased to hear from you and read all is well with Alfie. Wonderful news

You should never feel bad for being an responsible mum and asking questions with regard to your child, any future pregnancies etc. You did the right thing in asking questions and it was lovely 'chatting' to you.

Hope to 'chat' to you more.

Have a great, great Xmas with your new son.

Much love - Thomcat / TC / TeeCee xx
