We live in Devon. Services are crap. Dd been waiting years to be assessed. Just been told another two year wait!!! She's been in the system since she was a baby but fallen through the gaps every time. Where can we go to be assessed. Don't want to travel further than Wiltshire/Gloucester really. Ideally would like to find someone who does the ados test or find an NHS practitioner who does private practise
Thanks

Do you have your series of appointments quite quickly one after the other? Or are they all spread apart. I'm assuming they will do ados one month then the 3di the next month or something

Her anxiety is biggest issue I think, and her controlling behaviour. We have dla. No help at school ho hum! She holds it together and falls apart at home x

That's really helpful thanks zzz that's exactly what I needed to know. Were you allowed to sit in on the ados test? Not sure dd will want to go in alone!

Thanks zzzz and polter that's reassuring. Hopefully the. I can just sit in a corner tucked out the way and that will reassure her that I'm still present.
