who helps if you haven't got an HV

dd is 11 and has cp.
we haven't had a HV since she was little.
we don't have a "school" nurse although the sn school has nurses-they don't deal with home things.
I need to get nappies/pullups sorted and syringes long term.
tried the disrtict nurse but they only deal with over 16's and although they have given me some syringes. they haven't told me who i should be seeing.

Yes, I'd ask at your GP's surgery and see what they say. I know that HVs used to be for the under-5s but I think the focus now is on the whole family. Good luck!
