Excellent post, Fiona. You should send a photo of your daughter in for the Blogstars picture gallery -- it's fab, really makes me smile, all those sweet little people.

IK seems to be a favourite dartboard on mumsnet, but judging her from her blog she seems pretty groovy to me. Not to mention finally drawing attention to children with special needs without being patronising or sickly. Long-overdue and Good For Her!

Plus if her photo's anything to go by she's rather nice-looking, too. Cow.

FWIW I think IK has been fairly popular on here since she started raising awareness of SN etc. I like her blog too.

Fio -- if you go down the side of the blog there's a Picture Gallery section. You don't need to send in a story, just a photo. There are the most adorable little people up there. As far as I can tell you email [email protected]

Ah, chonky, I've been looking around for a syndicated Sunday Times column, but sadly can't find one. So , no, I'm probably not India.

I do have boundless love for her at the moment, though, thanks to the blog. I will try to tone it down and so seem like less of a nutter.
