...yes i know...noone has been moaning about the tv chef...just niggled by that to...and everytime a thread goes on about food....he always springs to mind... cos since he's been scorning junk food...it has given all the pompous prats to tell us all how crap we are!

Fattymumma · 18/11/2006 00:21

well there was someone giving out tasters of orange maid in asda today and DS drank the whole cup full.....so i bought 4 bottle of the stuff.

its the first time he has ever touched juice so im making the most of it.

and ladies, have i told you how wonderfull and clever and fantastic and brilliant Cod is? no? oh well she wonderfull and clever and fantastic and brilliant and if she lifts her foot i shall gladly kiss the ground beneath it.

i love cod

fatty...i'dlove one day to start a thread about how with my first son...he totally refused milk at birth....and after 3 weeks was only managing 1oz max per feed....and his weight was falling....and my health visitor had to help feed...as she was convinced it was my fault...as she'd never known a baby refusemilk... and at 5 weeks she admitted defeat...and advised i add drinking choc to his milk...as we'd dipped his dummy in our hot chocolate...and he loved it!
And suddenly my baby was drinking 5 or 6oz of chocomilk!!!

he gained weight.

he still hates milk...but loves chocolate milkshakes!!!!

MrsForgetful · 18/11/2006 00:29

...and my ds3 only drank 3oz milk per feed...and only once we had got him almost asleep...he would scream if we tried whilst he was awake.

Fattymumma · 18/11/2006 00:30

OMG MrsF - snap!

i have never told anyone outside family that before.

he hates milk but would drink milkshake by the bucket load. i was too embarassed to tell anyone before for fear of being yelled at.

MrsForgetful · 18/11/2006 01:00

!!!

i am totally 'out of the closset' now!!!!

i often post what i do deliberately...not to shock...but as you said you have never told anyone...then you read my post...and for me...that is fantastic...cos....i had years of feeling guilt about the lengths i went to to feed my family....and to know that your not alone...really eases the load!!!So i am so glad i confessed...as up till now...i have never had anyone admit similar...let alone the same!!!

Glad you're out of the closet Mrs F. Freedom.....you'll be going commando next lol!

Dd was weaned on chocolate buttons, wotsits and quavers. She finally progressed on to Heinz tinned macaroni cheese which she had everyday for about 3 months.

2Shoes · 18/11/2006 10:33

oh mrs f and batty do not feel guilt they have to eat whatever it is.
i have to give dd lots of fattening stuff as she burns up so much due to her cp. she would be skin and bones.
and she loves milk shake.
Oh and cod is wonderful as she saved batty's christmas.

foxinsocks · 18/11/2006 10:40

lol MrsF

when I took dd to the dietician when she was a baby (was, at that point, seemingly allergic to everything I was trying to feed her and wouldn't take her special allergenic milk) the dietician said

'have you tried mixing Nesquik or other flavours into the milk'

I said 'what?'....(thinking my precious little darling first born, as you do first time round, and nasty flavoured powder)

So I tried it...and it worked and dd will not touch milk today but offer her chocolate milk, strawberry milk or banana milk and she'll wolf it down

Needs must and all MrsF. We only do what we can!!

Hi Cod- teh only person i know who typing is more consistantly twisty than mine.
fod shummood. there used to be a take away in scarborough called "food" , did just what it said.

MrsForgetful · 18/11/2006 22:56

talking of cod's typing....i have found taht since i have been using a laptop...my posts have really gone skewy!!!
i am forever hitting two keys at once...or getting letters the wrong way round...or not pressing hard enough on a letter so it fails to appear!
and i never previe posts...so....cod is not alone

ps...i type with 2 fingers!!!

Fattymumma · 20/11/2006 00:43

lol when i first came on MN cod had changed her name and people were trying to guess who she was, my typing is so bad i was convinced everyone would think it was me.
