Recommendation for private referral adhd/odd/anxiety

So, after many, MANY years, we FINALLY have a diagnosis of adhd for our DS now 10. After endless deliberation and trying everything else, we've decided to try medication. However, although he is now diagnosed ADHD, his school and myself also know that his main problems are ODD and generalised anxiety. The paediatrician and person from the pupil referral unit (his mainstream school has employed to help him) disagree. As his school said to both of them, DS presents very well, is articulate, academically able, hides problems well he doesn't want to discuss etc. There is a chance the meds will work anyway. But I know very well (I'm a teacher too), because of his undiagnosed ODD/anxiety, it may well make it worse. The paediatrician I've been referred to seems very unhelpful and unapproachable, which has been confirmed by other parents I've spoken to that have dealt with her. What I'm struggling to find out is this - what are our options? Are we stuck with her, battling through a variety of meds until, by chance, we might accidentally hit on one that supports his undiagnosed ODD/anxiety too? Or can we go privately? I can't find anyone online who offers anything except CBT and obscure light/touch therapies, which we're already tried/trying. Does anyone know???? Thanks in advance.
