They have had a referral from ds1's playschool - informing them he might have Special Educational Needs.

I am trelling myself this is a Good Thing, I will know if he needs help, and if he does I will be one step closer to getting it.

But in the pit of my selfish heart I feel like I am being deported to Holland, and I am sobbing my heart out about this. I wanted to go to Fucking Italy.

Tobysmum, thanks for that, yes, unreal is a good word.

On the one hand I have a friend of mine saying he's fine (Yes, but he is behind your daughter, and your daughter is a FULL YEAR younger! You wouldn't think it was fine if it was your child!)

Then I have three teachers at the playschool, the speech therapist, my mum, my dad, half my friends, saying he has an attention span problem. The ones I trust most are the preschool.
