Hello, I am helping an Australian-Slovenian family currently living in Slovenia who will move to London by September 2015. They are searching for the right mainstream primary school for their 10 year old child with mild autism. Any suggestions? Thanks

Do they know where in London they will be living? It's very hard to recommend a mainstream school unless you know the local authority they will be in. If they know where they are going to move to, they could contact the local Independent Advice & Information Service (IASS) in that area, which is the support service for parents and carers of children with special educational needs. They ought to have good knowledge of the provision in that borough and the different schools.
