Will DS' nursery receive copies of all medical reports?

DS has had a lot of medical appointments in the last couple of weeks. I spoke to the head of his nursery yesterday, to update her. He receives 1 to 1 for half of his hours there She said "We'll probably get sent the report, but thanks for keeping us up to date".
Is that the done thing now? Will DS' consultant automatically send nursery a copy of his report? .

Thanks. I gave permission to SALT to send a report. Do you think that would follow through to DS' paediatric consultant?

Unless you have given specific permission to the Consultant, she/he won't copy in the school.

Sometimes, even when you've given specific permission, the reports don't get sent!

We had a case recently where a consultant's report confirming a diagnosis was not sent to us (Nursery). The parent presumed we'd had it, but it was actually 3 months later before we saw the report and his recommendations!

Thank you. I've had a situation with teenaged DD where CAMHS and school discussed her amongst themselves and we were left out of all decisions. I don't want that to happen with DS so would rather school only had information that we give them.
