Ds gets really stressed over tests. He is high achieving and puts immense pressure in himself.

He has ASD. Over the last few years I have seen a number of friends children breakdown during SATS week and I am desperate for this not to happen.

I know he will get extra time as he has a statement, school have applied for other adjustments as well.

I am using a social story, lots of propreoceptive input, sensory toys. Melatonin for sleep.

Any other strategies that you have used?

Dd3 did hers in a small room away from the other children! Dont know if he would go with that but it was better to be away from the general fuss!

Sadly the teachers hype the kids up, it is totally unnecessary but they do!

Good luck Flowers
