Its me again I posted earlier in the week about CAMHS meeting and the clinician preparing us for a ASD dx. ( coming on Monday)
Have been waiting 23 weeks for an OT appointment - and got a short notice appointment this am.
He has SPD and the OT called the school straight after to request apart from everything else I have been asking for a reduced timetable - movement breaks, squidgy toy, quiet time, visual timetable and a list of.
It was the reduced timetable that I had been requesting since September so feel so relieved that at least they hopefully will pay attention to what I had known he needed.
Onwards and up - thanks guys for all your support- will update about CAMHS- I suspect it will be an ASD and or with social communication disorder ( since the pyschi ( can't spell) gave me feedback about the problems DS presented)
This has been 4 yrs in the making - need a lie down a huge mug of tea and some hobnobs - wine for later
